2024 Yearly Congress
The 2024 Yearly Congress will take place in Catania, Sicily, on 12-15 October + extensions on 15-17 October. Here is the programme and the link to the Congress webpage to register
The 2024 Yearly Congress will take place in Catania, Sicily on 12-15 October 2024 with the following programme:
12 October: arrival of participants, welcome reception at the hotel (6:30 PM); optional dinner (departure 7:30 PM)
13 October:
– in the morning visit to the city of Catania (9 AM until 1 PM);
– optional lunch at the hotel;
– afternoon conference/debate on a European theme (with interpretation in German-English-French; 3 until 8 PM);
– informal dinner (departure 7 PM)
14 October: full-day excursion (including lunch) to discover the Sicilian Baroque in the towns of Modica and Ragusa; free evening
15 October: departure of participants or extensions :
– 15 October to Taormina
– 16 October to Piazza Armerina to visit Villa del Casale, an exceptional Roman villa with admirable mosaics, and Caltagirone, famous for its ceramics
– 17 October to Syracusa, a Mecca of both Greek antiquity and Sicilian Baroque.
In addition to the programme, our IT helpdesk will be available at least on 12 and 13 October in the late afternoon, and even longer if necessary.
Outside the planned programme, there will be the possibility of fun activities.
