ABC Guide to Sickness Insurance
This guide has been drawn up by AIACE International for the families and friends of pensioners of the European Institutions to help them better understand the provisions of the Staff Regulations governing their pecuniary rights and to assist them in specific or complex situations. This is a practical guide giving a general overview of these provisions, which in no way replaces the official documents in force. It refers mainly to the information published on the AIACE International website, which can be accessed via hyperlinks without a login or password, and where all the necessary forms and documents can be found.
The ABC of health insurance deals with rules common to all Member States. However, specific national features will be dealt with separately in documents provided for this purpose on the website of each section.
This guide is currently available in English, French, German and Italian; the other language versions will be published as soon as they are translated.
